ABOUT Us

ANDRÉANNE’S STORY

Andréanne Charbonneau is the heart behind SADP – PBSS. She is a trauma-informed pregnancy and infant loss coach, with a doctorate in psychology (PhD). She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy to expand her services and ensure she offers the most comprehensive and nurturing care to those she supports.

Her path to becoming a perinatal bereavement support specialist began after her own experience with pregnancy loss. Andréanne’s grief deeply transformed her life, reshaping her identity, aspirations, and career. For a long time, she suppressed her emotions trying to avoid facing her painful reality, but this only led to a deeper sense of loss and isolation. Through her journey, she learned the importance of letting grief unfold naturally and embracing the full range of emotions that comes with it. This understanding inspired her to change the narrative around pregnancy and infant loss by demystifying grief and creating a space where others could find the empathy and compassion that she had hoped to receive.
