Our SERVICES
SEEKING SUPPORT
We are here to walk with you through every step of your healing journey. Whether you are struggling to conceive, facing a subsequent pregnancy, or adjusting to life after loss, our services are tailored to meet the support you need.

ONE-ON-ONE COACHING
One-on-one grief support offers a space for you to share your story, explore your feelings, and co-create tools so you can meet a future in which you feel at peace. Sessions are offered virtually.

SUPPORT GROUPS
Our support groups focus on bringing bereaved parents together through their individual experiences of loss, to foster companionship, empowerment, and connections. These groups provide participants a compassionate and nurturing space to discuss the complexities of grief and exchange valuable tools for healing.

THERAPY SESSION
We are thrilled to share that we will soon be adding psychotherapy sessions to our comprehensive support services. By investing in additional training, we aim to provide an even broader range of support options, ensuring you and your loved ones receive the care you need during these challenging times.
PROVIDING SUPPORT
Walking alongside someone through grief involves unique challenges. Whether you're coping with your own deep emotions or need guidance to support a grieving friend, our compassionate services are here to assist you every step of the way.

WORKSHOPS
Our workshops are designed to empower support networks with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively assist those experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. Each session can be adapted to meet the needs of your organization, ensuring you receive the most relevant and beneficial information. Topics include demystifying grief, active listening techniques, and providing compassionate support. Contact us to learn more about tailoring our workshops to support your team effectively.

ONE-ON-ONE COACHING
Our one-on-one coaching sessions are designed to equip you with the tools and confidence necessary to effectively fulfill your supportive role while also taking care of your own well-being.

SPONSORING SUPPORT GROUPS
Our support groups are offered at no cost to grieving individuals, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent anyone from accessing the support they need. To continue providing these essential services, we rely on the generosity of sponsors. If you are a local organization dedicated to supporting bereaved families and would like to partner with us to offer support groups, or if you are someone who wants to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those grieving, sponsoring a support group is a powerful way to contribute.
COMFORT AND SUPPORT BOXES
FREE
Pregnancy and infant loss can have deep and lasting impacts on individuals and families. Yet, it is a type of grief that often goes unacknowledged, minimized, or unrecognized by society. To help break the silence and stigma that is so isolating to those navigating pregnancy and infant loss, we launched the Comfort and Support Boxes Project in March 2023, funded by the Kapuskasing and Area Family Health Team. Our hope with this project is to ensure that no one has to face the pain of pregnancy and infant loss alone.
The Comfort and Support Boxes are designed to provide support, comfort, and resources to grieving individuals and families. Boxes include locally made items of comfort and support, information on accessing support both locally and virtually, and a 60-minute coaching session gift certificate from SADP – PBSS.

Each comfort box contains:
-
Artisanal soap by Primitive Suds
-
Comfort and support cards by Sindy Kaur and SADP - PBSS
-
Grief notebook by Wabimeguil Fine Art

-

-

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the artists and local businesses who contributed to the project. A special thank you goes to the Kapuskasing and Area Family Health Team, whose support and funding made this project possible.
